Noteworthy - tips

Here are a couple of tips to help make Noteworthy quicker to use:

  1. Pressing M or m on your keyboard will bring up the Mute List where you can quickly click the boxes against each line (stave) to mute (with an x) or unmute that line;
  2. If you want to hear all or some of the staves but yours louder than the others, do the following: right-click on one of the staves you want to quieten and select Staff Properties from the menu; in the window that you're presented with, click on the Midi tab, and type a value in the box alongside Part Volume, say, 50, click OK and do the same for the other staves. The default (and max.) volume is 127, so each of the staves you've modified will be less than half the volume of the one you want emphasised, if you typed 50. Bingo. You can hear everything, but the stave you're particularly interested in will be more audible!
Enjoy!
